How am I billed for my Google and Facebook Ads?
Google and Facebook Ad accounts will begin billing your credit card (recommended) or bank account very shortly after your ad campaigns have launched. When your campaigns first launch your billing threshold (or credit line) with each ad network will start off relatively low (usually $25 for Facebook Ads, $50 for Google Ads). This means you will be billed more often for lower amounts at the onset. As your ad accounts mature and the ad networks will be more comfortable trusting you to increase the threshold. After your ad accounts have matured and you've been billed successfully for a period of time the ad platforms will incrementally raise your threshold, resulting in you being billed less often and for larger amounts. Once matured, most clients are billed by each platform once or twice per month. Clients with larger ad budgets may be billed more often. The highest billing threshold we commonly see for Google Ads is $1,000. For Facebook Ads, the highest threshold we commonly see is $750.
Please note that when an ad account is paused, canceled or terminated there may be a past-due balance for unpaid ad spend that will be charged to your credit card or bank account shortly following.
